These Terms govern Luna Scribe, operated by Casey Floyd. By selecting “I agree” during onboarding or using the app, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
You must be able to form a binding contract where you live and, for an organization, be authorized to accept these Terms. Keep your device and credentials secure. You are responsible for your content and account activity.
You are solely responsible for obtaining all notices, consents, authorizations, and approvals required to record, import, transcribe, process, or share audio and related information. Laws may require consent from all participants and may impose workplace, professional, educational, confidentiality, and cross-border restrictions. Do not use Luna Scribe unlawfully or to violate rights, policies, contracts, or intellectual property. The app records sound reaching its microphone; it cannot directly record ordinary Phone or FaceTime calls on the same iPhone.
You retain ownership of your content and grant us a limited permission to host, transmit, and process it only to provide requested features, including selected AI processing and sharing destinations. You represent that you have authority to do so. We do not use recordings, transcripts, notes, or prompts to train our own AI models. Cloud processing is optional; selected third parties are independent services governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Review important output before relying on it.
You may not bypass security, quotas, or access controls; interfere with the service; introduce malware; generate unlawful or harmful content; or use the service to develop a competing transcription or AI service without written permission. We may suspend access to protect users, the service, or legal compliance. Transcripts, speaker labels, notes, titles, and answers can be inaccurate or incomplete. They are aids, not legal, medical, financial, employment, educational, or other professional advice; do not make high-impact decisions solely from output.
Paid features, trials, and subscriptions, if offered, are described at purchase and may be subject to Apple billing rules. Cancel through Apple account settings; deleting an account does not cancel a subscription. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luna Scribe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties. We do not promise uninterrupted service, preservation of content, accurate output, or fitness for your needs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost data, profits, or goodwill. Total liability is limited to the greater of USD $100 or amounts paid in the preceding 12 months. You will indemnify Luna Scribe and its operator, to the extent permitted by law, from claims arising from your content, recording/sharing practices, or violation of these Terms, law, or another person’s rights.
We may change or discontinue features and update these Terms. Material changes will have a new effective date and, where appropriate, require renewed acceptance. Arizona law governs, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong in state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
